Jewellery Making
I have seen so many wonderful pieces of jewellery being made
and I was getting very curious as to how it was done, I have finally
given in and this is my first successful piece. I've been wanting a
new bracelet lately so I thought, why not make my own?

Rock Painting
I found some rocks whilst out walking the dogs and found some
acrylic paints. I borrowed a rock painting book from my
Mother-in-Law and this was my first attempt, which I gave to my Mum
as a birthday present.

Knitting
I subscribed to the 'Art
of Knitting' series that is currently still going that was
advertised on the TV. Unfortunately I haven't got too far with
that yet, there was a gift I got from my Dad though. This kit I
started was called 'My Chunky Funky Scarf' which I did as a
first attempt (pictured below, taken 10/01/08). But since I
still need to grasp this hobby!!!

Cross-Stitch
I have just started to do this as a matter of fact I
started it yesterday (09/01/2008) and I am in the middle of
stitching, which was a Christmas present a Winne the Pooh called
'Pooh Quickie' lol. Will add the picture when I am finished.

I saw this in Tesco and I had to have it, I didn't think that Tesco
would sell this sort of stuff but I was wrong. I now have my very
own bookmark I can be proud of.

Sowing
I saw this interesting article in issue 68 of Doctor Who
magazine 12-18 June 08, Make an Adipose. What's this you ask, those
of you who aren't dedicated Doctor Who fans! From the latest series
4 of Doctor Who the first episode called 'Partners In Crime' were
pills that people took to loose weight, this resulted in their fat
being turned into these little alien fat creatures! Strange yes but
they looked so cute and I had to make one!!!! The only difference is
the magazine said to use glue, I didn't think this would stay
together all that well so I sewed it together instead.

Pottery Painting
Some more Christmas presents I got, first of all a Piggy
Bank, also a set of Winnie the Pooh pottery which I have yet to do, I will add the pictures when I am finished.
